Creating AI-powered content in Alana is simple:step 1: open a product
Navigate to any product in your catalog, or create a new one.step 2: find the generate button
On any editable field (product title, description, bullet points, meta description), you’ll see a small sparkle icon ✨. Click it to generate content.step 3: choose your option
Two options appear: Generate new — Alana creates fresh content from scratch based on your product details and brand guidelines. Enhance existing — If you already have some text written, Alana will refine it, improve it, and make it align better with your brand.step 4: review and decide
Alana generates a suggestion. You can:- Accept — Click the checkmark to use it as-is
- Edit — Click the pencil icon to tweak the suggestion before saving
- Regenerate — Don’t like it? Click the refresh icon to get a different version
- Reject — Click the X to dismiss it and try again

AI gets better the more information you give it. Here are some tips:fill in your product details first
Before you click “Generate,” tell Alana about your product:- Category and subcategory — what type of product is this?
- Features — what does it do? What makes it special?
- Benefits — why should someone buy it?
- Target audience — who is this for?
- Price point — luxury, budget, mid-range?
- Materials, sizes, colors — any details that matter
make sure your brand guidelines are set up
Alana uses your brand voice, tone, and keywords to generate content. If your brand settings are incomplete or vague, the AI won’t have enough to work with. Set up your brand voice and tone →regenerate until it’s right
If the first suggestion doesn’t feel right, regenerate. The AI will try a different angle. Usually within 2-3 regenerations, you’ll get something you love.provide feedback as you edit
When you edit an AI suggestion, you’re training Alana. If you consistently edit a certain type of suggestion, Alana learns what you prefer.regenerating content
If you’ve already accepted an AI-generated description but later want to try a different version:- Click into the field again
- Click the sparkle icon
- Choose “Regenerate from previous”
- Alana will generate a new suggestion using the same product details

Each generation uses AI credits. Your plan determines how many credits you get per month:- Free plan — 50 generations/month
- Pro plan — 500 generations/month
- Enterprise plan — unlimited
