Dashboard Layout Overview

The dashboard is organized into three main sections:

The left sidebar is your primary navigation hub. It contains quick access to all main features and settings.

Workspace Selector (Top)

At the very top of the sidebar, you’ll see your current workspace name. Click it to:
  • Switch between workspaces (if you have multiple)
  • Create a new workspace
Below the workspace selector, you’ll find these key sections:

Brands

Manage all your brand profiles. Create new brands, edit brand information, and organize your portfolio.

Catalogs

Access all your product catalogs. Create new catalogs, upload products, manage inventory, and generate AI content.

Team

Invite and manage team members. Set permissions, manage user roles, and control access to your workspace.

Settings

Configure workspace settings, billing, integrations, and preferences.

Top Navigation Bar

The top bar provides quick access to common actions and information: On the left side of the top bar, use the search icon (🔍) to:
  • Find products by name or SKU
  • Search for brands or catalogs
  • Look up team members
Simply type your query and results will appear instantly.

Notifications

The bell icon (🔔) in the top right shows notifications about:
  • Team invitations
  • Product processing completions
  • System updates and important announcements
Click the bell to see your notification history.

Profile Menu

Your profile avatar (👤) in the top right corner opens a dropdown menu with:
  • Your Profile — View and edit your personal information
  • Account Settings — Manage password, email, and preferences
  • Help — Access this help center
  • Keyboard Shortcuts — Learn quick keyboard commands
  • Sign Out — Log out of Alana

Main Content Area

The largest section of the dashboard displays your main content. What you see here depends on which section you’re currently viewing:

  • List of all brands in your workspace
  • Quick actions to create new brands or edit existing ones
  • Brand overview cards showing catalog count and product count

  5. Check Notifications — Stay informed about important updates and completions

Getting Help While Navigating

  • Hover over icons — Most icons have helpful tooltips when you hover over them
  • Look for ”?” icons — Context-specific help is available throughout the dashboard
  • Check the sidebar — The help option in your profile menu links to this help center
