Connecting Your E-Commerce Platform

Getting your e-commerce platform connected to Alana is quick and easy. Once connected, your products will sync automatically, and you can start using AI-powered content generation right away.

Supported Platforms

We currently support integrations with:
  • Shopify — All plan levels (Basic, Shopify Plus, custom stores)
  • WooCommerce — Self-hosted and managed solutions
  • VTEX — Full VTEX ecosystem support
  • BigCommerce — All plan types
  • Magento — Open Source and Commerce editions
  • Custom APIs — For other platforms, contact our support team

How to Connect a Platform

Step 1: Go to Integrations Settings

  1. Click your workspace name in the top-left corner
  2. Select Settings from the dropdown
  3. Navigate to Integrations tab

Step 2: Select Your Platform

Look for your platform in the available integrations list. Click the Connect button next to it.

Step 3: Authorize Access

You’ll be redirected to your platform to authorize Alana. Follow the platform-specific steps:
  • Shopify: Review the permissions and click Install app
  • WooCommerce: Grant API access and confirm
  • VTEX: Authorize the API credentials
  • Others: Follow the on-screen authorization prompts

Step 4: Confirm Connection

Once authorized, you’ll return to Alana and see a Connected status. Your workspace is now linked to your platform!

What Happens After Connecting

Once your platform is connected, Alana automatically:
  1. Syncs your products — All products from your store appear in Alana’s catalog
  2. Downloads product images — High-resolution images are saved securely
  3. Maps product data — Names, descriptions, prices, and attributes are organized
  4. Starts tracking changes — New products are synced in real-time
  5. Prepares for AI content — Your products are ready for AI-powered descriptions and enhancements
No manual uploads needed—everything happens in the background.
